Rather than viewing PM1 as simply another test, parents can use the results as one piece of information to identify strengths, uncover potential learning gaps, and decide whether additional support may be needed.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"what-is-the-florida-fast-test\"><\/span><b>What Is the Florida FAST Test?<\/b><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">FAST stands for <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fldoe.org\/accountability\/assessments\/k-12-student-assessment\/best\/\"><b>Florida Assessment of Student Thinking<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> Florida uses FAST as a progress-monitoring system to measure student performance at different points throughout the school year.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">FAST assessments are aligned with Florida&#8217;s <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fldoe.org\/academics\/standards\/subject-areas\/math-science\/mathematics\/\"><b>Benchmarks for Excellent Student Thinking (B.E.S.T.)
