We are seeking enthusiastic instructors who specialize in tutoring math and science to middle and high school students. Proficiency with classes like Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, Pre-Calculus, Statistics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and/or Calculus are a must. The ability to tutor SAT/ACT is a bonus, but not a requirement.

Duties & Responsibilities

A Day in the Life of a TC Tutor

    Coaching and guiding students to meet their academic goals

    Tutoring multiple subjects effectively

    Strengthening students’ study habits and identifying how each student learns best

Ideal Candidate Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university (OR currently enrolled in a degree program leading to a bachelor’s degree)
  • 1+ years of previous tutoring experience (previous teaching experience is not required, but is a plus)
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to work SOME of the following: Monday through Thursday from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm and Saturday from 9:30 am to 1:00 pm
