Our son Luke began 3rd grade with low standardized testing scores. His Dibbles scale rating began on a kindergarten level. Not to mention, homework definitely wasn’t his strong suit. The year progressed and the teacher called me in for a conference. I imagined the worst possible scenario for Luke. I was so worried he wouldn’t test on his grade level.
His teacher completely surprised me by saying he was now reading on his grade level and had caught up with his classmates. Our time with the Tutoring Club was a complete success! Luke’s reading skills improved so much we signed him up for the summer program. He spent the summer working on his math skills. Luke entered fourth grade with no immediate troubles. His homework isn’t such a struggle and he even participates in class now! His teacher and I have both noticed his improvement with his confidence. I just want to say “thank you” to all the tutors who helped Luke this year.
