We will be CLOSED from Sunday, December 19 through Sunday, January 2 for the holiday season. Please email us to schedule any makeup sessions and to reschedule any missed sessions.

Back-To-School Laptop Policy
Students MUST bring their own laptop AND charger. Many physical binders have been converted to online binders and we will continue to use those, as well. We will be limiting use of our physical books and binders where we can as they are not easy to sanitize. Exceptions may be made for our early readers or writers and for some mathematicians for whom we will print off new materials each session. Exceptions may be made on a case by case basis.
If your student needs to use a laptop, please notify us to see if we have one available to lend them during their session.
Travel & Quarantine Policy
For students who wish to join us in center, please review our travel and quarantine policies. You have three options to choose from to be able to return to the center after any type of travel. This allows you flexibility and allows us to continue keeping the health and safety of our staff and students a priority. . Please click here and scroll to page 10 to learn more.
Report Card Tokens
Please remind your student to bring or send in their report cards at the end of each quarter. These reports help us monitor school progress and make adjustments when needed. Students can also earn a lot of tokens and *virtual* high-five’s for bringing them in!
Scheduling & Communication Reminders
Emails
Due to the volume of emails our team has been receiving recently, we are unable to accommodate same-day changes received over email. Please always email us at least 48 hours prior to any changes you need to be made to your students’ schedule.
Please also remember to add all @TutoringClub emails to your contact list to avoid them getting sent to your junk/spam/promotions folder.
Texts
We cannot make same-day changes received over text, as we do not monitor this line 24/7. Please always let us know of any FUTURE scheduling changes by emailing us at least 48 hours prior.
Calls
If you call the center during normal business hours, we can sometimes accommodate same-day changes to another time that day. However, this will be on a case-by-case basis, depending on tutor and spatial availability. Future schedule changes need to be emailed, please, at least 48 hours prior.
Reminders for In-Person Students
Water Bottles
Please remind your student(s) to bring their own FULL water bottle with them to their tutoring sessions. All water fountains in the center will be closed to decrease shared surfaces. Water bottles should be clearly marked with each student’s name.
Pick Up
Pick up: Please remember to come inside to pick up your student. With it getting darker much earlier, we cannot keep an eye on students outside after they leave our center. Please do not just pull up to the curb for pick up but rather come to the door.
Policy Reminders
Completion of Tutoring Club Enrollment
To allow for new scheduling, we request a 15-business-day written notice prior to the completion of Tutoring Club hours. A fee equal to one half-month’s tuition will be charged without this notice. Please remember that we do not cancel a student’s enrollment when tuition is depleted unless a 15-day written notice was given, rather we review new tuition options.
Schedule Changes
We request at least a 48-hour notice when schedule changes need to occur, to allow us enough time to make modifications to the schedule. We understand that life is full of the unexpected and will always try to accommodate last-minute schedule changes when we can. With the exception of same-day requests (which can be made by phone), all schedule changes must be made in writing. Each week’s schedule for our tutors is prepared the Thursday prior (for the following week Monday thru Saturday), so please email us before then. If requests for scheduling changes or additions aren’t made by then, it’s more difficult to fit students in for that week.
Make-up Sessions
To ensure consistency and maximum growth for your student, make-ups are essential for all excused absences. Any make-ups should be completed within a four-week block of the original excused absence and cannot be used in lieu of a regularly scheduled session or as a credit towards a future tuition payment. Tutoring Club does not charge for make-ups (due to excused absences) that are completed during the four-week block of the absence. Please remember that the best tutoring results are dependent on consistent attendance each week, so try to reschedule make-up sessions for that same week whenever possible. Failure to complete sessions in a timely manner may result in a loss of the time.
