Tutoring Club of St. Johns (Julington Creek) has been named a 2025 Top 20 Franchise!

For more than two decades, we’ve had the privilege of helping students throughout St. Johns County strengthen their academic skills, build confidence, and become more independent learners. Our community has grown tremendously, but our purpose has remained the same:

Meet students where they are, understand what they need, and help them move forward with confidence.

Being recognized as a Top 20 Franchise is an incredible honor, but this award represents much more than a ranking. It represents our students, families, tutors, administrative team, and everyone who has helped make Tutoring Club of St. Johns what it is today.

A Personal Mission to Help Students Succeed

For owner Kim, that mission began as a mom searching for answers.

After her daughter was diagnosed with learning differences, including dyslexia and processing challenges, Kim experienced firsthand how difficult it can be to watch a child struggle academically.

When her daughter fell behind in reading and was held back in first grade, Kim began searching for the right support. Her journey eventually led her to Tutoring Club.

What began as a professional opportunity became a personal mission: to create the kind of learning environment she had wanted for her own child.

Today, that philosophy continues to shape our center. We believe students deserve to be understood, encouraged, and given individualized support to help them master skills—not simply get through tonight’s homework.

Meet Our Center Director, Mr. Andrew

Our Center Director, Mr. Andrew, also understands Tutoring Club from a parent’s perspective.

As a father of three, Andrew experienced the tutoring journey firsthand when one of his own children received math support at Tutoring Club.

Today, he works closely with our students and families, helping make learning feel manageable and guiding students toward steady academic improvement.

One of Andrew’s favorite parts of his role is seeing that moment when a difficult concept finally clicks—and watching the confidence that follows.

This recognition would not be possible without our amazing tutors and administrative team.

Our tutors do much more than help students find the right answer. They ask questions, explain concepts in different ways, encourage students through challenges, and provide the individualized, one-on-one attention students need to become stronger and more independent learners.

Behind every tutoring session is also a dedicated administrative team working to support our students, tutors, and families. From individualized learning plans and progress monitoring to scheduling, preparation, and parent communication, their work helps keep each student’s academic journey moving forward.
