Greetings, Parents and Students-
We know that this is an unsettling time for many people and that the concern continues to rise. Our hearts go out to anyone who has been directly affected by the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19). Given the rapidly-changing trajectory of this virus and the recommendations of public health experts as of this Sunday evening, our centers have made the very difficult decision to temporarily close in line with the schools. This decision was not an easy one to make as our students depend on us. With that in mind, this choice has been made out of an abundance of caution for you and your children, our staff, and the communities in which we live. We realize that coping with this abrupt change to your schedule presents an extraordinary challenge and are truly appreciative of everyone’s understanding.
The ability for our students to meet their academic goals during this unprecedented time weighs heavily on us. While it’s true that some students may not need tutoring over the coming weeks, an overwhelming majority of our students will as they still have timely goals that they strive to achieve. As such, we have been working tirelessly over the past several weeks to explore ways to continue providing the individualized attention that your students need to thrive.
Although physical classes will not be taking place on school campuses for a bit, our middle schools and high schools expect students to engage with their courses in an e-learning capacity. By the same token, elementary students will need to ensure that they continue to make progress in developing their foundational skills. Recognizing this, we are committed to supporting your student(s) through this crucial time and will be in touch in the near future as our online tutoring plan develops.
In the meantime: wash your hands, stay healthy, and enjoy your families.
To your health,
Our TC Family
