I’m very happy that I was able to go here
I started coming to Tutoring Club last summer a few months after I dropped out of high school, at 17 years old. When we had the first meeting to discuss payments and such, I felt defeated because my dad and I are low-income and we couldn’t afford it, we were able to make a deal with Ryan about payment, and let me tell you, when the California Education System leaves you behind, you feel like a failure and that you’re never going to get anywhere in life because you weren’t able to keep up with the fast-paced class curriculum. I had the skill level of a 1st grader in math and I thought I could never learn how to do it and be able to pursue college but they changed that. I started at a 1st grade math level and with 6 months of vigorous practice, I was able to start the pre-algebra program. If it wasn’t for my tutors and friends I honestly don’t know where I would be in life right now and I’m very happy that I was able to afford to go here and that I’m on my way to getting my GED in confidence!!
Honestly– the money that you spend now in the long run is worth it if means being able to go to college and having a future for myself!
